There are very few conveniently accessible points which can be easily approached at weekends by Shimlites. One such point is the old Shri Sankat Mochan Temple of Shimla, its calm and peaceful surroundings attracts localites as well as tourists in all seasons. Moreover, being next to NH-22 it becomes quite easily approachable.

This weeks blessing was to visit a very very Inspiring place. To work in a company like Infosys is a dream of every Indian IT Professional. This week I visited Rajeev Gandhi Technology Park situated at Chandigarh. I felt quite good to see the infrastructure installed here. There is no doubt very soon Chandigarh is going to be an IT hub very soon like Bangalore.

Last week I travelled quite lot. One of the places which I visited is a peaceful and holy temple known as Markanday. It is situated a distance of five km on a link road from National Highway 21 in Bilaspur on the way from Shimla to Mandi before Ghaghas.
