The page cannot be displayed
There are too many people accessing the Web site at this time

I was annoyed and stuck with this problem and my site use to shut down saying following message after running for more than nine hours. Yesterday I got breakthrough.

Thanks to microsoft help which I dug…

Here is the solution for you…

You can get some comfort by unchecking the option of HTTP Keep-Alives Enabled. If connection time out is of no use to you keep it 10 seconds from its default value of 900 seconds.

If the users are heavy or it get refreshed periodically you may perform following steps:

  1. Start the Registry Editor [Start] [Run] [Regedit]
  2. Go to Registry Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings
  3. Select New > DWORD Value from the Edit menu
  4. Name the new value MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server
  5. Right-click the MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server value and choose Modify
  6. Under Base, click the radio button next to Decimal (if you are using desktop operating system the maximum value can be 40 and it  generates hexadecimal equivalent itself )
  7. In the Value Data: box enter the number of simultaneous connections you want to set, and click OK
  8. Repeat steps 3 – 7 using the new value MaxConnectionsPerServer
  9. Exit the registry editor

Cheers
